Since semi-realistic wasn't my forte, I had to research on youtube on how to color it in Photoshop. Despite some can be easily catchup but after several videos, I managed to get a little bit by bit. Hence, I started on the shadow and shade on my image 2. I only did some part though….

Since image 2 is approved in the last consultation, I decided to draw it out in Photoshop and add in the base color of the image. Since it is only the base color, the whole thing is still incomplete and it is still not neat yet. From this, at least I know which color I'm using and easier to picture the outcome.  Hence, this is the progress of the base color.

Double meaning image

After the consultation, I was asked to change the drawing I did for the first image. I was suggested to used the movie "Dexter"'s poster as reference. So I did and I also added a female partner also as recommended. So I came up with this:

Here, I have drawn two couples together to get a clear view on how I want the outcome to look like. At first, I drew the man as similar as I have drawn in my previous post. Then I thought of changing the man into a weaker looking and less muscular kind of guy.  The man has a knife to show that he can also kill and his shirt and face may be covered in blood stains too. As for the female, she also have the same approach, that is an innocent face with blood stains. Also, she is grabbing onto a child showing that she can also kidnap them. For my photo reference:

Using the poster wireframe for the missing children poster that I have posted before, I tried to apply color and test it out with different fonts. Here are the results:

Font used: Face your fear

It is slightly scary but a little too neat. However, it does look like the words are written using fingers and it have the slight faded ages. 

Font used: Oh No

I like this font though it a little messy when it comes to be big fonts. It looks as if it's a little urgent with like the words are written rapidly. I need to find a better version of this though as this version's special characters is not really working well (not what I wanted - it's a tattoo print….)

I guess this looks a of a mummy ad? I don't know. It does looked neat and it's kind of showing something that is not very happy.

It does look like a font of a horror movie poster or death note. May consider this over the second poster above.

Sketch out #2

For the other image for the children, I have drawn a devil / skeleton so that children is scare of the stranger. With the lollipop being bright, the children will look at the lollipop first. While the other is be slightly dim, as the children look longer, they will see that the person giving it is a bad guy. Hence, they will not take it. At the background, I have drawn blood stains, dead children and some corpse to bring out the horror of believing in strangers.

The quotes I have written at the side, however, I still think that those words may be hard to understand for the children. I will search for an easier understanding words for it.

Sketch out #1

In the previous post, I have decided to do a semi-realistic illustration for the lenticular art. Hence, I did a sketch (more detail) on how I want it to look like. Given the example given previously, I proposed that the guy will be drawn in the middle with dark background.

The part where the guy innocent face is brightly lit where else the background is dark. His body will be semi dark to sort of give a hint that he can be responsible for the missing children. Hence telling people not to judge a person merely by their looks. The items that he had each represent different things.

Rope - kidnap / tie children

Blood stained (handprint) - the children tortured is seeking for help

Money - got from ransoms or selling the children's organ

Poster (background) - the missing children that were kidnaped

According to the info above, human organs can be sold at a high price worldwide, which of course children's can be sold more expensively. People can do anything for money and this can easily be one of their solution in getting the cash fast.

As for the quotes at the side are a few ideas of the message to be given out in the poster. I will pick the one is most suitable and easily convey.

On the other hand, I haven't fully thought throughly for the other image that is for the children. However, I already have the rough idea for it and I will post it when I can finalize on the idea.

Illustration Idea

The illustration that I thought of doing is semi realistic type. I got some inspiration example online, however, I'm still unsure of the illustration would be like. The illustration example shown below will be my approach on the design. Since most door ambient media has connection to the door knob, I'm thinking of changing a little of the design execution to implement the use the of the door knob.
